About Thyolo
Thyolo is one of the 28 counties of the African country Malawi. Thyolo is located within the Southern region, one of the country’s three regions. The central city of the district is the city of Thyolo, which has the same name as the general of the district. The district is adjacent to Mulanje county in the east, Nsanje county in the south, Chiradzulu county and Blantyre county in the north, Chikwawa county in the west and Mozambique state in the southeast.
According to 2018 official government data, 587455 people were living in the district, where 721456 people lived, according to 2008 official data.
